Crewcast Radio Broadcast 5: The One Where We Say Goodbye

We say farewell to Spinward Fringe Broadcast 0: Origins - for now. Ray begins with his new segment: The First One's, or Ray's Tips For The Apocalypse. The topic of this mini-feature is food. He also mentions the second Ghost Rider movie and how they got a food fact in that movie wrong.

The first Spinward Fringe segment covers the cultural shifts on Freeground between Origins and the Expendable Few, and a little about what happened to Jonas after Broadcast 0. The segment ends with a story from Randolph about borrowing a real life event for use in Freeground (the first novella included in Origins).

Project Update on the Graphic Novel! Randolph discusses how the graphic novel would be different, and what the next step towards finishing this project is. A bit of the plot description was cut due to length, especially since someone in studio wasn't really listening during the beginning and things had to be repeated... The show rolled on and came to a happy conclusion regardless of the hiccup.

Special thanks to The Omega Experiment for giving us permission to use their music at the end of this episode. You can find them on iTunes and on BandCamp!

Thank you for listening!

Crewcast Radio Broadcast 4: The One That Gets A Little Personal

Just a random DigimanWe pick up where we left off with Broadcast 3. It all starts with my sordid past in Fantasy, when the names and places I made up back then were barely pronounceable by human beings.

Real life relationships come up next, quickly followed by a conversation about fictional prison and a conversation about Agameg. Our music is once again provided by Walk Off The Earth, who you can find on iTunes, other music providers, and on tour.

Some fan art that we talked about this episode. Nat's rough sketch based on her initial impression of what Agameg looks like.

Crewcast Radio Broadcast 3: The One With The Bunker Babe!

Early CGI Test For Spinward Fringe - Rough VersionThe Bunker is graced with the presence of Sylvie, otherwise known as The Minion from the Facebook page. Ray won’t be recording new episodes for a few weeks, but he’s left us with several more that will appear later. This time we answer qustions about wormholes, time dialation, the locaiton of the Bunker (our studio), why Sylvie is late to the podcast, I ask for help from Neil deGrasse Tyson, and I pronounce all the difficult names in the Spinward Fringe series.
Warning: The sound may be a little loud on this one, we’re working with a new mixing board.
Thank you for listening!

We’re also starting a new release schedule! New episodes of Crewcast Radio will be broadcasted every Wednesday and Saturday. Look for a double hit this Wednesday in celebration of the new schedule and having Sylvie in the studio!
