Spinward Fringe Broadcast 10: Freeground Available For Pre-Order

Starting with Smashwords and branching out to most vendors over the next seven days, you will be able to preorder Spinward Fringe Broadcast 10: Freeground, the next book in the series. It will be released through all popular EBook retailers on January 28, 2016.

I'm making great progress on this book, and I'm having great fun with the events and the expanding universe. It's well on the way to being completed.

Here's the synopsis:

The war between the Order of Eden and the few who fight for their freedom continues. Jacob and his comrades are within the Iron Head Nebula, a natural border between sectors where danger surrounds them as they do their best to assist stranded ships, fight the Order, and make connections with those who dwell in the gargantuan dust cloud.

Meanwhile, Alice and many young Officer Candidates are challenged by the rigorous training provided by the new Triton Fleet Academy. Her mind, body and preconceptions will all be tested as she makes her attempt to complete the first curriculum so she can become a leader in the growing fleet. The fight awaits Alice and her fellow students, but they have to prove themselves before they are allowed to join the battle.

Everyone will be pushed to their limits as they confront some of the most incredible challenges and mysteries of their lives.

Sadly, you won't be seeing Amazon on the list. Here's why:

Any chance your books will be on google Play?

I would love to get the books on Google Play, but Google shut the door on new publishers and authors several months ago, and no one has been able to sign up. The best thing you could do as an alternative is pick up the books on Smashwords. You can download version that work on any device, they keep your purchase on file so you can re-download whenever you like, and you'll have access to any updated versions if they are posted.

I hope Google opens their doors to new authors in 2016 though, I've been trying to get in for six months.

I have preordered book 10 through Nook. As it is past the posted release date, I'm wondering when I'll receive it any ideas? I'm currently rereading the series for the 10th time I think, & I've been finding little typos here and there (but that's easy to do when you're raised in a print shop. LOL) I absolutely LOVE this series. So PLEASE, PLEASE keep up the great work. I hope to see this series be anywhere from 20-25 books long.
Big fan,
Kelly

I truly wish I had a release date for you, and I thank everyone who pre-ordered, you deserve one! Broadcast 10 has taken a lot longer to write than I expected, however, in fact, I'm still working on it, and it's already about 100,000 words long. I work on it six days a week, every morning, and hope to have it out sooner rather than later, but any release date I put out there right now probably won't be accurate, so I'm not going to announce one again until I know I'm finished, and the book can be in your hands on that day.

I'd rather be late and correct, than ambitions and wrong again.

Thank you for supporting me, there are probably going to be more releases than you expect coming this year, regardless of the slow start, so hang in there.
