Ray
and I take a look at Spinward Fringe Broadcast 2, in what turns out to
be a fairly thorough and flavorful read-along edition of the podcast.
It's not your typical read-along, rather, we have a great time looking
at the book from every angle but in no particular order.
Until I re-read Broadcast 2 the night before as a noval in its own right, I had forgotten how much fun I had writing it, and how I think it wraps up the set of Broadcast 1 and Broadcast 2 nicely.
So, sit back, put your feet and listen in as Ray and I enjoy this book aloud, examining our favourite bits, what happens in the book, what the chracters experience and where we end up on the last page.
We're thinking of Bif Naked as she struggles with health issues, wishing her all the best and hoping she makes a full recovery. This week we play Red Flag from her most recent album: The Promise. You can find her through Bifnaked.com or wherever great music is sold.
Thank you for listening!

In fact, this frequently will happen several times in the same night where I'll wake up, go back to sleep and continue my dream back in the world of the story 2) Since Ray has had the opportunity to preview much of Broadcast 7, I wonder how much you have to go back and edit out when he accidentally reveals a Broadcast 7 spoiler.
Thanks for these entertaining podcasts!

1) I really enjoy Ray's imagination, but I can say the first time he started talking about a Spinward Fringe scene that I never wrote, I gave him a pretty stunned look. It was actually really funny.
I wish I had more dreams about Spinward Fringe, to be honest, but I mostly dream about something I did a lot during the previous day. For example: I was editing the podcast until 4am last night, and I had a dream early this morning that I was still editing. I was relieved when I woke up and realized that I finished the owrk last night.
2) Ray is actually pretty good with holding back spoilers, in fact, I've only had to edit out a couple very minor things since we started podcasting. He has a habit of saying 'you can cut this out later...' but I rarely do, because that's normally a signal that he's about to say something interesting.
